Coming down the stairs, we are entering the rec.-room/ family room with it's good size granite fire-place. The fire-place has an napoleon wood-stove insert as back-up heat or just for those romantic winter evenings.
This room features large windows, all across the outside wall. A sliding glass-door allows us to step onto a patio and the back lawn. A few steps across the lawn, and you can jump into the river or step into your boat.

The walkway from the sliding glass-door to the laundry is tiled for easy cleaning. People usually walk from the laundry to the outside to dry the cloths on the cloth-line; people are coming into the house, dripping wet, from swimming in the river, or children just run in and out between the bed-room and the lawn. The rest of the family room is laid out in wall to wall thick carpet with extra insulation underneath.

A second (2 piece, also tiled) bath room is conveniently located right beside the third bed room. Shelving and bath room cabinet are included in the purchase price.

The laundry room offers everything in one spot. It is conveniently located at the lower level of the house, so you can carry your laundry outside, to hang onto the cloth line, without having to clime stairs.

The third bedroom has an extra insulated floor, laid out in wood design, vinyl flooring. It also has a walk-in closet. Currently the third bedroom is not used.

Under the stair-case is build in another walk-in closet for hanging cloths and storing things like hiking gear, suit cases, and the like.

The storage room is accessible from the third bedroom. Here you also find the breaker panel for the house.

The utility room houses a high efficiency electric forced air furnace and the water equipment.

The water equipment consists of a 40gal electric hot water tank and a water softener-filter system.

The house water is supplied by a 75 feet, drilled well. It produces about 5.5 gal/minute of water. The water comes into the house via a submersible pump, located in the well itself. The waterline can be heated and controlled by a thermostat.

The cold cellar is accessible from the outside, walking through the glass sliding door outside, from the family room.- It is located underneath the sun-room. This is a good place for your deep freezer chest, your wine racks, food in jars and cans, etc......... Of course you also can store your skies and snow shoes here.
