Llamas for Sale

During recent years we thoroughly enjoyed having our llamas around; not just as guardians against wolf and coyotes on our farm, also as hiking animals and attraction. According to a CBC radio broadcast some years ago, Llamas do a 20% better job protecting sheep and other vulnerable animals than the traditional donkey. Just don't expect one single llama to kill a pack of 20 timber wolfs.

Since we are selling Wind Chimes Yoga Farm, we have to part with our llamas as well. They are all registered animals or could be registered with the International LLama Association.

If you would like to try hiking with llamas; We are also selling our llama hiking gear. The panniers including saddle and straps were $ 500.00. We have 2 brand new, never used sets ($ 300.00 including panniers, saddle, straps and blankets)and two used set ($300.00), plus two day-hike sets : used ($80)/ used once ($100)
All prices are in US $ (common currency on the web)

Here we are in Algonquin Park. A 5 days hike in April.
Nutmeg is easy to get along with, as soon as she has her halter on.
She is the ideal hiker: tall with long legs, short hair and easy to guide.

SHEENA on the left and Sally on the right. While Sheena is very kind with people, she is the boss of the herd. On the trail she is the cautious one.

SALLY on the right (with brown cheeks) is a little on the shy site, however, she is the watch tower of the herd and the most daring hiker. She LOVES water. Crossing rivers with her was always fun.

Dusty is the most beautiful llama I have ever seen. He tall, strong, gentle, has the wool you would like to harvest and the best personality. He even gives hugs, but prefers a more reserved relationship.

Sheena with Negm and Ramy. The little crias are still as cute, 2 years later. They are both male $450.00 each. To the right: Sheena by herself.

We do have some more llamas that are for sale as well.
